The solo-show is a comprehensive overview of Mr. DuLaney’s current body of conceptual work exploring the ability of art to transform the perception of objects, images, and actions. The interdisciplinary show explores various media including painting, sculpture, video, and performance, and a range of materials from granite to street signs to US currency to fine jewelry to the human body. DuLaney’s studio, as well as some of his earlier, archival work will also be on display.

Alton DuLaney is an artist, educator, and art lover. He is the Art Director of Splendora Gardens, and an elected member of the Splendora City Council. DuLaney’s work has been exhibited across the country and around the world. He holds a Masters of Fine Arts degree from the University of Houston, where he teaches Public Art. He shows with Vaughan Mason Fine Art in Houston, Texas. DuLaney can also be seen on national television promoting creativity as The World’s Most Famous Gift Wrap Artist.
